The house is located at the main street “Nicola Vapcarov”. This convenient spot is just 3 km (1.8miles) away form downtown Bankya, and 20km (12.5miles) away from the capital Sofia, allowing you to enjoy the peaceful life and natural beauty of the area, and at the same time to stay in touch with the dynamic big city life of the capital.
You can get to the property either by car or by bus. Bus „44” stops nearby, after which you can take bus „42”, followed by the subway and then to downtown Sofia.
When traveling by car, you can choose to take “Shose Bankya” (also known as "Staria Pat"), which will take you to “Evropa” boulevard and then “Slivnica” boulevard. An alternative route is through “Sofia” street, which passes near “Philipovci” district and is directly connected with “Liulin” district and “Todor Aleksandrov” boulevard. In either case, the total trip time to the capital is less then 20-30 minutes, and that will be shortened even further (about 10 minutes) after “Liulin” highway is constructed and the road infrastructure is improved.
The house is located at the hearth of the Liulin mountain. From the terrace you have a splendid view to Bankya and Sofia. During the winter you will have the feeling of being in a mountain resort, as you spend time in your own home, just 20 km away from downtown Sofia.
The Divotin monastery is nearby – about 2 km. The area offers the opportunity of mountain biking, motocross and buggy rides. About 300 meters away passes the tourist route to downtown Bankya, also know as “Aleqta na zdraveto” (Health Alley)". A notable peculiarity of this area is the tranquility and unique climate.
It has been proven that no such climate exists anywhere else in the world. The incredibly fresh air is caused by a particular airflow – a breeze, which constantly stirs and refreshes the air over Bankya. Many modern day houses are built in this area, including the architecture award wining house of the famous Bulgarian musical duo “Riton”.
The pine forests and rich flora saturate the mountain breeze with phytoncides and negative ions, giving the air healing properties. Bankya’s medicinal power is also accredited to the fact that this is the only place, free of the hazardous to man bio-pathogenic emissions.
